<aside> đź’ˇ Hey there, civil services aspirant! My name is Rishabh Dev and I am here to make your UPSC preparation a little easier. Forget cramming and highlighting like it's 1999 ("Make it Stick," by the way, highly recommend, but I can summarise if you're short on time ). Spaced repetition is like magic flashcards that know when you're about to forget something, so it pops back up just as you need it.
The best part? I made a tool that does the remembering for you, because let's be real, the UPSC syllabus is enough to fry anyone's brain. You just tell it what you learned and when, and it tells you exactly when to review it again, like a personal revision genie. I believe this was the biggest reason behind my success
Think of it as your own mini-calendar, database, and strategy all rolled into one. Plus, it's free and super easy to use (just follow the instructions, or if you're feeling lazy, text me and I'll share the secret handshake).
So ditch the rote memorisation and join the spaced repetition revolution!
Best wishes,
Rishabh Dev

ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Every topic is a page and you can use it to write notes. That way, you will have your notes and study planner in one place.
Keep track of what you learn in the “Calendar” view, so you always have a birds’-eye view of your preparation.
You can add mind maps and images and see them directly from the “Gallery view” so your prep need not always be boring. Just open the topic page
HOW TO USE ?
Create a Notion account (it’s free with if you have a xyz.edu email account) AND Duplicate this page onto your workspace by choosing the option after clicking the three dots on top right of the page or by pressing Ctrl/Cmd + D on your laptop. OR
Click on the “New” button in the default list (It will be a big blue button on both laptop and mobile)
Enter the topic “Name”, “Date Learnt” and “Subject”. It will automatically tell you the “Next date” you have to revise that topic.
After revising that topic on the “Next Date”, check the applicable “Rep” box (named 1-7 according to the repetition).
The checkboxes calculate “Next Date” based on a formula with this schedule:
Rep 1 | 1 day after learning |
---|---|
Rep 2 | 3 days after learning |
Rep 3 | 7 days after learning |
Rep 4 | 15 days after learning |
Rep 5 | 30 days after learning |
Rep 6 | 60 days after learning |
Rep 7 | 120 days after learning |
Repeat Step 4 until you reach “Rep 7”.
Congratulations! You have revised the topic 7 times over four months. You now remember it for life.
DISCLAIMER: I had made this rudimentary version for my personal use, so this is a work in progress. I will be adding more features and design elements so the tool can be more efficient and effective.
